Codeseven is a melodic post-hardcore band from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, formed in 1995 by brothers James, Jon, and Matt Tuttle alongside Eric Weyer. The band gained early recognition with their 1998 album 'A Sense of Coalition' and its cover of 'The Boys of Summer.' While initially rooted in the hardcore movement with releases like 'Division of Labor' (1999), they later transitioned into a more experimental, melodic space rock sound on albums such as 'The Rescue' (2002) and 'Dancing Echoes/Dead Sounds' (2004). After a long hiatus beginning in 2005, the band officially returned in 2023 with the album 'Go Let It In' on Equal Vision Records.
