Carnivore Mommy is a four-piece queercore and screamo band formed in late 2023. Comprising Lauren Memery (vocals), Sage Bryant (bass), Nicholas Svoboda (guitar), and Gabriel Neimark (drums), the group emerged from the Chicago DIY scene with a theatrical, high-energy sound described as a blend of 'emo theatrics and the horror of hardcore.' While based in Chicago, the band is a staple of the Milwaukee underground music circuit, frequently performing at venues like Promises and receiving significant coverage from Wisconsin-based music platforms. Their debut EP, 'Pigmeat', was released in 2024, featuring standout tracks like 'Flash Gash Cash' and 'Wub (What Did I Do Wrong, Baby?)'. They are known for their 'scream-soaked' performances and strong advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community and sex workers.
