By Storm

About

By Storm is an experimental hip-hop duo consisting of rapper RiTchie (Nathaniel Ritchie) and producer Parker Corey. The group is the successor to the influential Tempe-based trio Injury Reserve, which disbanded following the 2020 death of member Stepa J. Groggs and the release of their final album 'By the Time I Get to Phoenix'. Formally announced in July 2023, the duo chose their name as a tribute to the track 'Bye Storm' from their previous group's discography. Known for avant-garde production and visceral lyricism, they released their debut studio album, 'My Ghosts Go Ghost', in January 2026 to critical acclaim. While originally from Arizona, they have a strong presence in the Milwaukee underground scene and are a frequent fixture at local venues like the Cactus Club.
