About
Brown Horse is a Norwich-based alt-country band known for their evocative blend of 1990s alternative rock, 1970s folk, and country influences. Formed in 2018 as a folk quartet, the group evolved into a six-piece ensemble, incorporating elements of indie rock and Americana into their sound. Their music is characterized by twangy guitars, pedal steel, accordion, and harmonized vocals, creating a sound that resonates with fans of artists like Lucinda Williams, Jason Molina, and The Breeders. They have released two albums: 'Reservoir' in January 2024 and 'All the Right Weaknesses' in April 2025, both receiving critical acclaim.
