Bodybag (often stylized as BODYBAG) is a prominent fixture in the Milwaukee underground hardcore scene. Formed around 2014, the band gained local notoriety for their aggressive, fast-paced blend of metallic hardcore and powerviolence. After an initial period of high activity from 2014 to 2017, their collected works were compiled and released by the underground label Noxious Ruin in 2023 as a discography collection (NR037). The band resumed live performances in the mid-2020s, including high-profile local support slots at venues such as the Cactus Club and X-Ray Arcade, often sharing the stage with other local mainstays like Enervate and World I Hate.
