Sacred is a Milwaukee-based modern rock quintet known for blending progressive arrangements with alternative rock sensibilities. The group gained significant local traction after being selected as a top 15 finalist in the nationwide NEXT2ROCK 2018 competition and receiving multiple nominations for 'Best Alternative Rock Artist' from the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) between 2018 and 2020. Their sound is characterized by melodic intensity and the unique inclusion of a cello. They have performed at major regional events such as Summerfest and opened for national acts like Foghat and Red Sun Rising. Their sophomore album, 'Myths & Monsters,' was released in 2020.
