Bed

About

BED (often stylized as bed or bēd) is an alternative rock project originating from the High Desert region of Palmdale and Lancaster, California. Originally founded as a solo endeavor by vocalist and songwriter B, the project evolved into a full band known for a sound that merges 1990s shoegaze textures with the urgency of post-hardcore and melodic punk. Drawing inspiration from acts like Title Fight, Deftones, Nirvana, and Smashing Pumpkins, BED became a fixture in the Southern California DIY scene. They released their self-titled debut LP in 2022, which was recorded with Alex Estrada and mixed by Jack Shirley. The band gained wider recognition through relentless touring, including a run with Beach Goons. In early 2026, they reissued their debut album on vinyl through the label Quiet Panic and embarked on an extensive North American tour, bringing their high-energy live show to venues like Milwaukee's Cactus Club.
