Bearjaws

About

Bearjaws is a DIY sound-collage artist based in Columbus, Wisconsin, who is a staple of the Milwaukee underground music scene. Their work is characterized by a "sampladelic" approach, experimenting with eclectic sound collages, downtempo electronic grooves, and alternative rock textures. Bearjaws is a frequent collaborator with local Milwaukee artists like Alex Sitze and Scatterbrainmane, and has performed at notable local venues including Falcon Nest (Falcon Bowl) and Linneman's. Their music is often described as idiosyncratic and atmospheric, blending live performance with complex sample-based compositions.
