Basement Collective

About

The Basement Collective is a prominent Milwaukee-based booking and promotion collective founded in late 2015 by JJ Kaiser. Initially starting as a DIY basement venue in Franklin, Wisconsin, it has evolved into a key driver of the city's underground music scene, focusing on punk, hardcore, emo, and indie rock. Operating primarily out of X-Ray Arcade in Cudahy and other local venues like Cactus Club, the collective is widely recognized for its commitment to all-ages shows and for organizing regional festivals such as 'Burn Bright MKE' and 'The New Reality.'
