BADVRIL
About
BADVRIL is a duo led by Becket Schroeder and Tessa Piccillo. Originally from rural Washington, the project moved to San Francisco where they established a presence in the DIY and underground scene. Their music is characterized by a tension between heavy, distorted grunge riffs and lush, ethereal shoegaze textures. They gained early viral attention for purportedly being the first shoegaze band to perform at a federal prison. The band maintains a strong community-focused ethos, prioritizing all-ages shows and accessibility. After releasing their debut LP In Heaven in March 2025, they signed with Share It Music for their sophomore album, Lethal (slated for October 2026 release).
