About

Baby Tyler (and the subsequent Baby Tyler Band) is a high-energy punk project from Madison, Wisconsin, led by multi-instrumentalist Tyler Fassnacht. Originally conceived as a solo 'drum-machine punk' endeavor during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project was a departure from Fassnacht's work in established Wisconsin underground acts like The Hussy, Fire Heads, and Proud Parents. Characterized by raw, snotty vocals and frantic tempos, Baby Tyler eventually evolved into a blistering five-piece live band known for chaotic performances across the Midwest. The group has released several records on boutique labels such as Night Bell Records, Tetryon Tapes, and FDH Records, notably including the 2024 self-titled LP and the 2025 release 'Sucker With A Dream'.
