About
Asha'man is a groovy metalcore band from the Fox Valley region of Wisconsin, specifically based in Menasha. Formed as a spiritual and musical successor to the local act Ashes of Alexis, the band takes its name and thematic influence from the male channellers in Robert Jordan’s epic fantasy series, 'The Wheel of Time'. Described as a 'metalcore phoenix', the group is a central part of the DIY and underground heavy music scene in Wisconsin, frequently performing at the Brodazoffa venue and across the Milwaukee circuit. Their sound is defined by aggressive riffs, rhythmic 'groovy' beats, and fantasy-inspired lore. Their discography includes the 2024 single 'Destroy the World' and the 2025 'Lemonade - EP', which featured tracks like 'Lineatus : The Desolator (Rodent Wrangler)'. Despite the passing of former guitarist Joshua Andrew Bradford in 2024, the band remains active in the regional underground scene.
