About
Alive I Awake was an underground metalcore band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, active in the early 2000s. They were a part of the city's hardcore and straight-edge scene. Notable members included guitarist Cody Davidson, who later gained prominence in the extreme metal scene as the drummer for Sanguisugabogg and other projects like Putrid Stu and Murderman. The band was known for its heavy, breakdown-driven sound typical of the era's metalcore style. They were officially defunct by 2005, as noted in regional scene archives.
