About
Akasha is an underground extreme metal project based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, primarily led by the musician known as Leech (C.G.). The project is known for blending the atmospheric aggression of black metal with the heavy, rhythmic weight of sludge and doom. After emerging in 2017 with the demo 'Consumed by Life' and the 2018 EP 'Vultures of This World,' Akasha released the critically acclaimed full-length album 'Canticles of the Sepulchre' in 2019 via Les Fleurs du Mal Productions. The band is a prominent fixture in the Wisconsin black metal and underground extreme music scene.
