About
AK-47 was a seminal punk rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, active during the late 1970s and early 1980s. They were a cornerstone of the city's early underground punk scene, famously known for their aggressive 1980 EP and tracks like 'The Badge Means You Suck' and 'Stop! Dance!'. The band's music was later compiled and reissued by local labels like Splunge Communications, preserving their legacy as pioneers of the Milwaukee DIY hardcore movement.
