About

Accessory is a German synthpop and electro-industrial band formed in 1994 in Chemnitz, Germany. Initially known as "Voices of Darkness," the group changed their name to Accessory in 1996. The founding members were Dirk Steyer and Kay Resch. In 1997, they released their first demo album, "Electronic Controlled Mind," under the label SD-IMAGE. The lineup expanded in October 1999 when Ivo Lottig joined as a keyboardist. Shortly after, Kay Resch left to pursue a solo career but returned in 2001 to handle lighting and technical operations. Their first official album, "Jukka2147.de," was released in February 2001 under the label Out of Line. The band has since released several albums, including "Titan" in 2003 and "Elektrik" in 2019. They have toured with bands such as Hocico, And One, and Terminal Choice.
